Complete or Partial Failure of Dashboard Information System (DIS) for Volkswagen

Common faults:

  • Backlighting total or partial failure
  • Gauges do not work properly or at all.
  • LCD display pixelation failed partial or completely.
  • Intermittent or complete power fault.

Error Description
A complete or partial failure of a vehicle's dashboard or, if applicable, a complete or partial failure of the dashboard's information system, may either cause the complete or partial failure of the vehicle's indicators or dials or the complete immobilization of the vehicle to the extent that the driver is unable to start it; other interferences with the normal functioning of the dashboard may also be observed.
