Submitting a REQUEST FOR REPAIR

All private parties (including, for example, automotive dealerships and garages) are invited to contact Dashboard Instrument Cluster (hereafter 'DIC') for the purposes of determining:

i) whether or not a requested repair can be accommodated and

ii) the service fee (or quote) associated with the repair in question.

PAYMENT Information

DIC only accepts payment made in accordance with the following payment methods:

i) If the purchaser elects to have the malfunctioning dashboard(s) picked up by the service vendor, DIC, so as to facilitate the repair for which DIC is retained, payment must be made upon the pickup of the malfunctioning dashboard (or components thereof, if so applicable).

ii) If the purchaser elects to have the malfunctioning dashboard(s) shipped to DIC, so as to facilitate the repair for which DIC is retained, payment, including applicable shipping charges, must be made upon the agreement of DIC to undertake the repair in question, via a Paypal link that will be sent to the e-mail address that DIC has been provided with for these purposes.

ADDITIONAL SHIPPING INFORMATION (Where Applicable)

It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to ship the malfunctioning dashboard(s) to DIC

Submitting a REQUEST FOR COMPONENTS OR PARTS

DIC, in addition to making available a dashboard repair service, is also capable of supplying replacement components or parts for both malfunctioning dashboards as well as other instrumentation devices. These components or parts are sourced either from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or from third parties who manufacture such components or parts to OEM standards and specifications.

A list of available components or parts has been appended to each Model's (e.g. 'A3' or 'S-Class') 'Serviceable Errors' description page. If so requested, parts can either be delivered or, where a delivery is impracticable, shipped to a purchaser; please contact DIC for more information.

Note

In circumstances where DIC has accepted to service a malfunctioning dashboard or supply a component or part thereof and payment remains outstanding for a period of seven days (7), following the date on which the 'Request For Repair' has been submitted, DIC will consider the 'Request For Repair' as abandoned and, appropriately, null and void.

Where applicable, additional taxes or tariffs that a purchaser may incur upon electing to ship a malfunctioning dashboard (etc.) to DIC are the exclusive responsibility of the purchaser.
